Video of the Week #15: „Going South”….Very happy to share this duet with Cyrille Lecoq, here playing a clay percussion called „Udu”, with added skins, made by Christian Gauche.
This composition is about how fast things go when going on tour, the fast tempo depicting the race it is most of the time. Packing your instruments, going to the station or airport, arriving on location , going for soundcheck, preparing the setlist and your body, performing. There is a little calm and rest after the show (the slow part in the song), and then the morning after, off to the next trip back home or to the next concert.
